sftpd is a remote fileserver for your file transfers, content distribution, and offsite backups.
Stick to the tools you are already using: Borg, rclone, restic, rsync, or any other program that supports the SFTP protocol.
Your data is stored on a ZFS filesystem with RAID-Z3, adding protection against data integrity issues and rendering data loss virtually impossible.
sftpd acts as the processor of the data you upload, and stores that data exclusively on servers hosted in Germany.
Pay only for the storage space you actually use, which is measured once a minute and billed down to the byte.
$6€5/TB/month
From 100 TB onwards, benefit from volume pricing and custom solutions.

Traffic is encrypted because it goes over an SSH connection. However, data is not encrypted at rest, so you should encrypt any data you upload (using e.g., rclone crypt or restic).
Sub-users are not currently supported. While you can still upload multiple SSH public keys, they will all point to the same working directory.
Your storage is measured once a minute. Each measurement is multiplied by a byte-per-minute rate that adds up to $6/TB/month, and these charges are added together at the end of the month.
Your data is replicated across multiple disks in a RAID-Z3 configuration, rendering data loss unlikely. Nevertheless, you should maintain independent backups.
If an invoice remains unpaid after one month, your account will be locked. After a further month, your data will be deleted.
